2010年的第一天，分享卡內基課堂上一段發人省思的影片，

Father(F):What is that?
Son(S):A sparrow    

F:What is that?
S:I just told you father. It's a sparrow.

F:What is that?
S:A sparrow father a sparrow. A s-p-a-r-r-o-w!!

F:What is that?
S:Why are you doing this.I told you so many times It's a sparrow!! Can't you get it?
F:(Leaves the seat).........
S:Where are you going?

F:Loud...
S:Today my youngest son who a few days ago turned three was sitting with me at the park when a sparrow sat in front of us.
S:My son asked me 21 times what it was and I answered all 21 times that it was...
S:...a sparrow.I hugged him every single time he asked me the same question.
S:Again and again...Without getting mad,feeling affection for my innocent little boy.

一個老父親與兒子坐在庭院裡，父親無聊的看著四周，兒子則看著報紙。

此時，突然飛來一隻鳥停在樹上。

老父親便問兒子：「那是什麼？」

兒子看了一眼便回答：「麻雀」

老父親隨後又問：「那是什麼？」

兒子此時有點不耐煩的說：「那是一隻麻雀！」

當老父親第四次問兒子那是什麼時，兒子忿怒的與老父親吵架。

老父親無言的走回屋子，拿出一本日記要兒子大聲的唸出來。


泛黃日記本寫到：

今天，我最小的兒子，他幾天前才滿三歲，和我在公園坐時，

一隻麻雀出現在我們面前。我兒子問了我21次 ”那是什麼”，

我回答了他問的所有21次問題 ”這是什麼”， ... 一隻麻雀。

他問相同的問題時，我每一次都擁抱他。

一次又一次的問，我沒有生氣，

但對我那天真的小男兒，確感覺到無比溫馨的親情。
